For a complete meal (five blocks) I use soy protein powder (five servings) five cups of strawberries, fiften almonds and five cups of milk. The flavored shakes the zone sells look fine but I don´t know if they would be the same nutrition or how to prepare them (just add water or milk?). In the other hand, any of you have other recipes for shakes so I can try something different? Thank you...

The Zone shakes are not 5 blocks, if you wanted to do that many you would need to add some other items to make it more of a meal.

I make my Zone Shake with 8oz. of 2% Milk - I believe the directions state you can do that for a 3 Block Meal.

I do know the Sue has a "Brownie Batter Smoothie" recipe that she has shared in this Cooking Forum.

Also, Dr. Sears' talked about his "Big Brain Shake" in the OmegaRx Zone book, the recipes are as follows:

    For Women:
1 1/3 Cups mixed berries (fresh or thawed frozen)
    20 grams of protein powder
1 to 3 teaspoons pharmaceutical grade fish oil

    For Men:
2 Cups mixed berries (fresh or thawed frozen)
    30 grams of protein powder
1 to 3 teaspoons pharmaceutical grade fish oil
