Sugar free biscuits INGREDIENTS : Wheat flour, sweeteners, Maltitol, sorbitol, vegetable oil, wheat starch, [b:50bcb4d074]oatmeal (8,2 %)[/b:50bcb4d074], eggs, low fat yoghurt (4 %), whole milk powder, malt extract, baking powders : sodium bicarbonate, ammonium bicarbonate, salt, flavourings. I was wondering if this could be considered in my Zone meals list, and just had a look at the label : amount of macronutrients x biscuit, in g : Protein : 0.5 g Carbohydrates : 4.8 g Fat : 1.1 g Fiber : 0.2 g ( [b:50bcb4d074]so the effective carbs x biscuit should be around 4.6 g[/b:50bcb4d074] ) If my calculations are right, every biscuit should be 1/14 P, 1/2 C and a little over 1/2 F. I guess proteins are ignorable in this case, and F is ok . 2 biscuits should have 1 block C and 1 block F. I just tried it : 1 block snack which consisted in 80 g of ricotta (something like cottage cheese, I guess) and 2 of these tasty, sugar free biscuits. To be accurate, they are NO ADEED SUGAR free, and they are 0.1 g x biscuit sugar-consistent, and 1.5 of polyalchools. Is that amount ignorable, or anyway ok ? I think so, so if there's something wrong in this let me know bye Michele

[color=darkred:4d57309ab2]Those are unfavorable carb. Also, Dr Sears recommends avoiding sugar alcohols.[/color:4d57309ab2]
