I went to BJ's today and found Asiago cheese, onion with roasted red pepper chicken sausage made by Harvestland. I want to see if anyone can tell me if this is zone-able. The nutrition facts are: 160 calories, 4g carbs, 1g fiber, 17g of protein.

Thanks in advance for your help:-)

    Hi Jennifer,

That sausage sounds delicious :-) ... 17 grams protein (at 7 grams of protein per block) is 2 1/2 blocks. So, to balance you'd need to add about 2 blocks of carbs (at 9 grams of carb per block, the sausage has less than 1/2 block).

Also, I found the nutritional info online (http://www.purelyallnatural.com/pro...tId=54405) and each sausage has 9 grams of fat. At 3 grams of fat per block, that's 3 blocks. So it's a bit high on the fat, but right in the ballpark.

Bottom line, if you add 2 blocks of carbs to the meal, I believe you'll be Zone-balanced :-) .
