    Hi Everyone,

I just added a link in my siganture here which takes you to a new photo album of my ZoneFast 1-2-3 meals and snacks. To see the album click on the pizza photo in my signature. Some are photos of ZoneFast meals I've made from the recipes on this web site, but most are my original meals and snacks. Enjoy!

    Hi Sue,

Must say your photos look delicious! Just wondering what you use for pesto sauce. Is it from Trader's Joe? I don't have a Trader's Joe here only Whole Foods but I am sure I could find something similar. My pizzas really haven't come out that good. You must saute your mushrooms before putting them on the pizza with olive oil right? My package of zone foods haven't arrived yet so I have to do it on my own. Maybe you could intersperse your zone foods photos with store bought ones. Great idea with the strawberries and yogurt to include a brownie.

    Thanks Margaret!

The pesto I use is Buitoni's "Reduced Fat Pesto with Basil Made with Extra Virgin Olive Oil" I buy it at a regular grocery store in the refrigerated section. It's made with Zone friendly fats and contains about 4 grams fat per tablespoon, which is in the realm of the condiment choices in the ZoneFast Grocery Additions list. Just take care to use it sparingly.

Yes, I buy baby bella mushrooms and either saute or roast them. I keep the cooked mushrooms in the fridge for quick use when needed.

Another pizza tip, my favorite tomato topping for Zone pizza is Trader Joe's Bruschetta (comes in a jar; found on the shelf, in the Italian foods section). That's what you're seeing in most of my pizza photos. It's also good mixed with fusilli, and all you need is a couple of tablespoons. It's delicious!

That's a good idea, to see a comparison of Zone foods next to store bought ones. Unfortunately I don't have any store bought foods to take photograph for comparison. :-)

You'll have to try the brownie sundae. It was good. The pomegranate seeds I use are the frozen ones from Trader Joe's. One bag lasts forever because you don't use much. I toss a small spoonful of them into things like salads, yogurt, and a bowl of granola topped with milk. They add a little bit of crunch and a fresh flavor. My breakfast this morning was Zone Original Granola topped with raspberries, some pomegranate seeds and a little West Soy Unsweetened Chocolate Soy Milk.

Thanks Ernesto. I've included links to some of the recipes, and I've described others in the album below the photo. I don't usually go by a recipe most of the time. Instead I just use whatever I have on hand. Gor most of those meals you can easily see the ingredients in the photos. The album is a work in progress and I'll be adding more desriptions and photos. Glad you like it!
