I caught the tail end of it, and was rather surprised. At least those few minutes seemed quite focused on weight loss, the amazing wonder pill that causes massive weight loss (PGFO), looking like a bikini model, and seemingly little about actual health and longevity. Did I totally miss the boat here? I was hoping for a program that actually reflected some of the other positive effects of the zone, and didn't cater to the American desire to look like Pamela Anderson crossed with Denise Austin. Hmmm.... By the way, I did enjoy seeing some familiar faces! (JDP? Was that you? :) ) Thoughts, anyone?

I was "filmed" back in early April. I haven't seen it, yet. How long is it? Is it one of those 1/2 hour info-mercials?

I wish there was. I hardly watch tv and would like to see it. What channel did you see it on.

I'm sorry--I have no idea! I was flipping channels and cleaning the house at the same time, so I have no idea what channel it was on. The part I saw was surprising, as I thought it would be a more "intelligent" infomercial (is that an oxymoron? :wink: ) It kind of made the Zone sound like an afterthought (the WOE) and the fish oil pills sound like the miracle pill that makes you skinny. Ronica, I have to agree, I caught part of it early one Sunday morning a few weeks ago. I have only basic cable so it was either network, UPN or PAX. I was very disappointed that the message was the big fat loss miracle pill and not better health (but I guess we see what sells in the US :? ) Robbin

I didn't think it was too bad. While they come across as a little overzealous about the fish oil, at least they don't make bogus scientific claims like the informercials for the cotrisol-reducing supplements. And I appreciate the fact that they used real Zoners who did it on their own rather than people who were paid to go on crash diets just to give a testamony for the infomercial.

I was in Boston and was filmed also just before jaydpiii. As I was leaving, I was told that I could call the producer and they'd sent me a copy of the tape in "a few weeks". I'm curious as to whether I made it in as both my wife and I were filmed. It was supposed to just be me from our family but when they heard of Jeannine's weight loss and the greatly improved arthritis symptoms, they filmed her as well. I'll be curious to see it when and if they show it in this neck of the woods. I'm a bit disappointed though that they made it strictly into a weight loss thing and didn't talk of the overall health benefits. If anyone pins down where it might be seen...please let me know? I have inflamatory arthritis and have been on the zone for about a week hoping that this will help with the pain (as well as the other health benifits). I have not heard any one else mention this but on the web site I have heard Dr. Sears mention the reduction in inflamation. What is your wife's type of arthritus? Just a reminder, I only saw a few minutes at the tail end, so I don't really know the tone of the whole show. Perhaps that was a test play to see if it would succeed, and now they are doing more editing. It's a theory. Not home much anymore, back at school, so I make no guarantees, but I'll keep an eye out..
