    Is it ok to salt and pepper my food? I'm assuming that pepper is probably ok, but I'm a little unsure about the salt.
    Any response greatly appreciated.

    Both are ok Steph. The mechanisms by which salt causes fluid retention are altered when your insulin is kept in the Zone ranges, so it's not a problem. As with everything, use moderation. It's not a license to go crazy with the salt shaker! :-)
