Heres the deal, and maybe someone can clarify it for me. I have the book "Mastering The Zone." I also have the book "What to eat in the Zone." Both written by Dr. Barry Sears. On page 24 of Mastering the Zone, it says and I quote "A fat block is only 1.5 grams of fat." In the book, What to eat in the Zone on page 19 it says, and I quote "a Zone fat block contains 3 grams of fat." Can you see why I'm confused?? One book says 1.5 grams of fat is 1 fat block, and the other says 3 grams of fat is a block. Which is correct, and moreso, its contradicting. I really need to know which is correct, because I require 4 blocks of fat at each meal(breakfast, lunch, dinner), except for snacks which I only require 1 block (mainly because of my high activity levels), and i need to know if i should have 6 grams of fat or 12 grams of fat at each meal...can someone clarify this for me??? Any response is greatly appreciated. |
