Are the listed amounts/quantities of foods that make up Zone blocks measured before or after they have been cooked? |

Before. Meats, typically lose up to about 25% due to liquid loss. Say 4 oz of a low protein meat with 4 blocks (28g) of protein will weigh about 3oz after cooking. . And many, many vegetables lose so much volume even if very lightly sauteed. |

Before, except for those that are obviously cooked (eg. canned tuna, canned sardines, deli-style meats applesauce, salsa, the list of cooked vegetables, etc.). |
