I ordered some zone cookies because I occasionally would like something sweet to go with my plain cup of coffee that wont knock me out of the zone.
I have been using half a zoneperfect bar for a snack and had good results, so I decided to try the cookies. my first impression when opening the first package was, these things are way too small, I will need to eat 4! that proved to be wrong! Wow, these little cookies packed a big punch! I couldn't believe how sweet they are! Mabye because i have not been eating much sugar in the last 6 months.
i could not believe I was actually eating real chocolate candy! It was so sweet it was making my teeth hurt. One was all I could handle with a large cup of black coffee to sip with it.
It worked fine for a snack, keeping me from getting hungry til the next meal.
I did notice I do get a little light headed feeling after eating them, possibly due to not being used to eating sugar, or my body and brain getting confused thinking that i am eating a regular cookie, but I know that if I ate a regular cookie, i would soon be wanting to eat five more! Not so with the zone cookies!
I will post more after I get them all ate up, it is going to take a while! ;-)

Mike, I tried the chocolate chunk cookies. Way too sweet for me!

Like you, my first impression was a bit disappointing, I was really disappointed by the size.

However, unlike your experience, they did not keep me in the Zone, I was crazy hungry after eating them. And, I think they were too sweet for my palate, I actually did not enjoy the sweetness. I also was unable to get one of my kids to eat it.

I love the cookies, especially because of the sweet taste! I've never been able to eat sweets without huge negative effects, downright scary ones where I'd get so spacy it felt like I was going to pass out (hypoglycemic symptoms). I feel fine for hours after eating Zone cookies. They're fantastic!
