    Hello Everyone,

I'm having my wisdom teeth removed on Friday, and am looking for some zone smoothie and/or soup recipes that will require little to no chewing and also have no seeds, don't need anything getting stuck

    Thanks in advance

    My smoothie recipe is:

    2 cups frozen strawberries
    1/2 cup plain nonfat yogurt
    1/4 cup cottage cheese
    7 grams plain protein powder
    2 tsp olive oil

    Blend together and enjoy!

I hope that the small seeds on the strawberries won't be of consequence, but you could make a similar smoothie with another fruit, perhaps some frozen peaches?

Am also thinking of blueberries, but I think that if the seeds in strawberries are concerning, then maybe the same problem with the blueberries.

    Hi VKrazzy

Check out the Vita Mix website for great recipe ideas, then adjust them to the Zone. For example the Vita Mix recipe for tortilla soup is awesome! I add to it canned chicken from Costco for the protein and blend the entire thing completely smooth and my family can't get enough.

In fact I have been known to take any soup or stew recipe and just blend it completely smooth and if the color is okay, recipes that my children didn't like before, they suddenly love.

I know it sounds odd but you can blend (adding water when needed) many of your regular favorites, slightly adjusted into a warm soup. And there are many great breakfast smoothies and shakes on the web.

Search for juice diets,or juice recipes, then instead of juicing, puree in a vitamix type blender (if you have a regular blender chop the fruits and veggies small before adding and be sure there is enough water) If you use celery, pull the strings, they will clog regular blenders, and it is salty so use it for seasoning only. The trick to a green juice/smoothie is to add a touch of lemon. It takes away the sharp "green" taste that so many people object. But the green ones, I would add the chicken to and make it more of a soup than a cold smoothie.

I have found the canned chicken to be the easiest protein for warm / veggies meals and a zone friendly yogurt or cottage cheese for fruit based smoothies is often good.

You'll do fine. :-) In fact I am inspired to make a smoothie breakfast I think. (I have done extensive juicing and juice dieting so I have read and tried much of what is out there.)

    Cheers
