I was reading in Barry Sears' book Toxic Fat and found something I have a question about. When you loose weight there is a reduction of Arachidonic Acid (AA) which is the goal. But the adipose tissue stores also toxins, PCB's Et al. The book says it goes to the liver where it is made water soluble which are then excreted. Some can wind up in the brain. That is a concern. Is there a “purging” of these toxins that can be done? Even if the toxins are stored in the brain? Unfortunately, I fall in the Yo-yo category of gaining and losing. But hopefully I can stick with the program. So far after a month, it has been successful.
