Hi I am very new to zoning (about a week) and i can't stay full until the next meal!! i eat a lot of veggies and i only use the recipes on the site so i know that I am properly zoning. I do have a problem with cheating. I live with three other people that love baking sweets and this becomes a problem when i get bored :/. I really like some of the recipes on the site but how do you measure out a three block meal from a four block recipes?? Oh i also was wondering about the ten o clock snack because i have always heard that it's bad for you to eat after 7? Any tips would really be appreciated!! thanks! |

If you are snacking in between meals on those baked sweets, that is probably not helping, and may be contributing to your hunger issues. You can take a 4 block meal and just eat 3/4 of it, and save the last 1/4 for a snack. You are "fasting" all night, and the evening snack will help you to stay in the Zone and wake up not feeling hunger. |

Hi Aleshia,
I am no expert but I have the same problem as you do; I seem to be always hungry. However, when you have some successful days it will reinforce that getting into the zone is possible and stops you from eating junk food and helps you to feel better. I have found using the protein powder is very useful. You can drink shakes and have all your blocks. I especially like the strawberry drink, Sue's chocolate brownie drink. My biggest problem is not eating breads and too many carbs. My cheats are always with these. I don't eat any bread, potatoe, rice or pasta. I find it easier not to be tempted than even eat a little of these items. I find it helps a lot and just eat them for cheats. Hope this helps you a little and good luck. |

Aleshia, Yes, you should still eat your snack. But, I have a thought... Since you stated that you feel hungry and can't make it from meal to meal, but then you are full after supper and can't eat your snack, I think it might help for you to re-arrange your meals and snacks. For instance, you could take your dinner and make it a 2 block meal; then you can use that extra block for a snack earlier in the day. Might help you to get through a long afternoon. Just thinking... |
