how much soy beans is 1 block protein. like 1 cup, 1/2 cup measurements. here the cup measurements comes in which capacity? 10 oz? |

USA: 1 cup volume is 8 oz by volume (not weight). Soy Beans, dried: .25 (1/4) cup (2 oz volume): F = .5g C = 14g P = 17g . Soy Beans, green, no pod: .25 (1/4) cup (2 oz volume): F = 4.4g C = 5.5g P = 8.3g . Soy Beans, no pod: .25 (1/4) cup (2 oz volume): F = 9.3g C = 10.6g P = 17g |

Soy beans area combination food for Zone purposes. In THE SOY ZONE Dr. Sears writes to consider 1/4 cup of boiled soy beans to be 1 protein block and 2/3 of a carbohydrate block.
Cups measure volume in fluid ounces (1 cup = 8 fluid ounces). |
