    USA: 1 cup volume is 8 oz by volume (not weight).

    Soy Beans, dried:
    .25 (1/4) cup (2 oz volume):
    F = .5g
    C = 14g
    P = 17g
    .
    Soy Beans, green, no pod:
    .25 (1/4) cup (2 oz volume):
    F = 4.4g
    C = 5.5g
    P = 8.3g
    .
    Soy Beans, no pod:
    .25 (1/4) cup (2 oz volume):
    F = 9.3g
    C = 10.6g
    P = 17g

    Jayaprakash,

    Soy beans area combination food for Zone purposes. In THE SOY ZONE Dr. Sears writes to consider 1/4 cup of boiled soy beans to be 1 protein block and 2/3 of a carbohydrate block.

    Cups measure volume in fluid ounces (1 cup = 8 fluid ounces).
