I am confused with carbohydrates in take. If 3 blocks of protein for a meal, I need to take 3 blocks of carbs. That means 27g of carbohydrate.

So I need to take 27g of vegetables? That is very less rite?

Yes it is. And can be done in a number of ways.
1 cup of green beans is 1 serving (block), ~9g fav carbs.
So is 1/4 cup of black beans.
Fruits are less dense. 1 orange or 1 apple is 2 servings (blocks) ~18g carbs.

    Hello Jayaprakash

3 blocks of carbohydrate does not mean just 27g of vegetables. What it means is enough vegetable to get you 3 blocks of carbohydrate.

For e.g. 3 cups of Cabbage or 4 cups Cauliflower pieces make just 1 block of carbohydrate where as just 1/4 cup of Chickpeas will also make 1 bloc.

Plz download the pdf file to get the details about different food items wrt blocks . .

RAJA is correct. 1 block (1 serving) of Carbohydrates is 9 grams of carbohydrates in a Favorable carbohydrate food. (Favorable as defined by DR. Sears is having a low Glycemic Load (not Glycemic Index).)
