I am not sure if the is the right place to ask this. Sorry if it is not!

I am eating three 4 block meals and two 1 block snacks. Sometimes I feel full before I have finished a meal. Am I supposed to stop or eat it all so I get all my blocks?

    Thanks so much!!

Clayton, you don't have to eat an entire 4 block meal at one sitting if it's too much for you, but you will need to eat your entire block requirement daily, in Zone balanced amounts each time you eat. This means you would not benefit by saving some of the veggies or fruit alone, from you 4 block meal, to eat later. You'd need to save proportionate amounts of P, and F in Zone balance, to eat later.

Eat what you can, but try to keep it proportioned and save a block for later. You can eat it later, just as long as you get in all of your blocks by day's end.

My significant other switched to eating three 3 block meals, and two 2 block snacks and this has worked out better for him!

Just wanted to put that suggestion out there that you may just want to redistribute your blocks <img src='desktopmodules/ntforums/images/emoticons/smile.gif' height='20' width='20' border='0' title='Smile' align='absmiddle'>

Clayton, lots of good advice here!

Since your current plan indicates that you are eating 16 blocks per day, you can just put some thought into dividing that up in a way that will work for you.

Another idea, if you are having problems with the size of the meals, you can reduce the volume by using more beans/legumes in your meals as carb blocks, or use things like tomato sauce (1/2 cup per block) as one of your blocks. Another idea is to drink your block, so maybe you would eat a 3 block meal and drink a glass of milk for your 4th block.

    Many ways of managing!
