When considering the total of carbohydrate blocks for a day, what is a good ratio of fruit to vegetables? Will consuming a proportion of more fruits in comparison to vegetables knock one out of The Zone?

Jordan, it will truly be an individual response. Some people can stay in the Zone with more fruit than others. A good rule of thumb is to get at least half of your carbs from veggies, and the balance can come from fruit, grain (oats), dairy, etc.

    Hi Jordan,

Re getting knocked out of the Zone, it will depend on how you body responds to carbohydrate.

Dr. Sears recommends getting most of your carbohydrate from favorable veggies.
