Hi Kimberly, It might seem more expensive at first look, but it's only $2 per meal at autoship prices. For the past 5 weeks, when at home I've been eating SuperZone food, either by itself or with added veggies, fruit, a little protein, fat and condiments, as shown in the SuperZone sample menus and accompanying info that comes with your Super Zone order. When I've gone out to eat, I've been I eating Zone meals. Yes, three cookies would be like a 3 block meal. As the 2 week sample menu suggests, I've simply been eating 1 packet of whichever food I choose for a meal or snack. I have made a slight adjustment to the plan, for my increased daily protien requirement (the calc. gives me between 12 and 13 P blocks a day) by eating an additional 1/2 a package of SuperZone food as a snack or dessert. If this sounds confusing, it will be very clear once you look at the 2 week sample menu. I perfer to have an evening snack, so for the foods sold in the dinner category (pizza crusts, orzo and fusilli, which are 4 blocks to a package) I usually eat only 1/2 a package at a meal and then one of the 2 block items as the evening snack and a second snack, in order to provide the higher men's protein requirement. Yes, technically the SuperZone foods contain all you need, but I think it would probably quickly become very boring without some additions. Have fun with it kimberly! SuperZone has simplified my life. There's less time and effort spent shopping, meals are much easier to prepare, no real thought has to be gven to balance and we love how they taste! |
