Is there a place where I can see how many blocks there are for all of the superzone food items? |

If you go to the SuperZone foods pages in the SHOP tab (above) and click on "Facts, Ingredients and Details" that is located to the right of each product photo, you will see the nutrition lable for each product. Each single serving pack of the breakfast, lunch and snack foods contians 2 fully balanced blocks of P, C and F. Each single serving pack of the dinner foods contains 4 fully balanced blocks of P,C and F. |

Thanks Sue! I was hoping you would reply. I am going to order some bagels and cookies to see how they work and go from there. |

I don't want to feel like I am nitpicking this but I was reading the Zone block guide and it says that most women should choose 3 blocks of each from the list. So, if the supserzone foods such as the bagels, only contain 2 of each, shouldn't I add one of each p,c, and f to my superzone food meals to make it three? I am thinking that since after I ate my bagel again today with peanut butter, I was still craving something. I didn't eat anything else and I ate within an hour of waking up. Thanks. |

Hi kimberly, "Nitpicking", not at all; if you're hungry, you're hungry. In the literature the comes with your order you'll see it's fine to add up to an ounce of protein and or fruit veggies, and condiments to any SuperZone meal. If you're eating as set forth in the basic SyuperZone meal plan suggestions you'll get the appropriate amount of P, C and F daily without counting blocks. If you normally require 12 or 13 blocks daily, simply add and extra snack. For best results with eliminating cravings, all you meals and snacks will need to be appropriately Zone balanced to meet your specific needs. |

Sue/Cheri -- just received my second SuperZone food order yesterday, and couldn't wait to try the granola. O M G ("OMG?" what am I, 13?) -- anyway, as delicious as you said! It's such a good snack just alone, but I've just mixed it in with my favorite combination -- Greek yogurt and blueberries. It's so sweet that I didn't even need to add my usual bit of Splenda to the yogurt.
As I said in a previous post, I've been treading very carefully with these SuperZone foods -- not only because of the cost, but I'm very susceptible to cravings. So far, the SuperZone foods are doing very well with me. VERY filling, and I'm not hungry for longer stretches than usual.
Best thing about the granola though is that I'm sure I'm going to get my son to have some with breakfast. It's next to impossible for me to get him to have any protein at breakfast -- he's a creature of habit, and he loves his cereal in the morning (since his school bus comes at 6:15 am, breakfast is before 6, and he doesn't have much of an appetite). I'm thinking the granola is going to be a good addition to his breakfast. I'm also going to put a bag in his backpack to snack on during the day.

Laurie, I know! Don't you love it?!!! Your son, it would be a fantastic breakfast and snack for him! I can't wait to taste the peanut butter granola and the brownies too, when they become available. What else did you get? I ended up inexpectedly being out shopping right through lunch (very crowded out there today!). No worries though, because I had slipped a package of the garlic bagel chips into my bag before I left. It was perfect. I sat in the mall, in a big comfortable overstuffed chair, watching and listening to a live trio of Christmas musicians as I ate my bagel chips. I didn't get home until 3:45 and was not one bit hungry. For dinner tonight I experimented and came up with confetti rice made with SuperZone Orzo. We liked it a lot. I posted the recipe tonight in my SuperZone recipe thread here. |

Hi Sue -- I also ordered the Cinnamon Swirl and Multigrain bread loaves, the Multigrain rolls and the White Pizza Crust. Haven't tried any of these yet, but will let you know when I do :-) .

The cinnamon swirl loaf is excellent when toasted. (It' very good without toasting too, lol!)
A pizza tip, to make a pizza that's crispy on the outside and chewy on in the inside, I put the white pizza crust in a 425 to 450 oven, with the toppings on it, for about 6 1/2 or 7, minutes. I've also found that if you use a dark colored pizza pan, it browns too fast. I've been using a cookie sheet with a piece of parchment paper on it. I have a pizza stone, but I haven't tried using it with these crusts yet.

Thanks for the pizza tip, Sue :-) ! I'm so hooked on the granola, that I couldn't resist and had it again this morning with my yogurt. So Cinnamon Swirl tomorrow ...

Had a slice of the Cinnamon Swirl bread with tea as an evening snack, and it was wonderful! I had it toasted, with about 1/2 teaspoon of Smart Balance Light. Delicious, and very satisfying -- I'm optimistic that, since the SuperZone foods are so satisfying, they're going to help me keep those late-night overeating demons at bay :-) .

Laurie, I hope the SuperZone foods help you with your late night eating...I know you've been looking for a solution to that problem for quite some time. From everything I've read and heard the SZ foods seem to keep the hunger at bay for longer periods of time than regular zone food (sort of like protein powder does for me).
I would LOVE to give them a try but I'm in Canada and they are not available outside of the US yet....
