:roll: Hello fellow Zoners, I'm looking for a Zone Buddy in the Naugatuck, CT area. I started the Zone last year and was quite successful over a years time, and then hit a major speedbump last December when I bought a home with my fiancee. I was now in a town 30 miles from my gym and started eating like he ate. :oops: Now, however, I'm happy to say that I'm back on track, have joined a new gym and am looking for someone who (like me) might benefit from a friend to stay in control and positive! I am from Canton, CT... Just restarting the zone TODAY after many years... I followed the. zone years ago when Dr Sears was, shall we say, a rebel. He is now almost mainstream with his theories... He was SO AHEAD OF HIS TIME.... WHAT A BRILLIANT MAN,!

Looking for someone to work on keeping on track with me... Are there others from CT on the forums as well?

Hi Sandy, I'm in Vernon! I've been in following the Zone diet and lifestyle for years. I agree, Barry Sears is a man ahead of his time, brilliant, generous and kind, a fountain of information. How did you first day back in the Zone go? One of the best kept Zone secrets in the Hartford area is the Trader Joe's across from West Farms (in the Sears /Toys R Us plaza at Corbin's Corner). If you keep the Zone basics in mind and do a little bit of label reading in there, you'll see they have a multitude of Zone friendly foods at great prices. I'm convinced the TJ's buyer must be following the Zone. Keep in touch and let us know how it's going.
