I just started the p90x program and was wondering what my activity level would be now. I want to make sure that I'm eating enough so that I am burning fat and losing weight.

Hi Sarah, I have done the P90X program in the past and I would consider the activity level of this program to be "very active." Hope that helps!

Thanks Sarah! I thought that's what it would be...I also spin 2x/week, and do some other cardio i.e. walking, biking...
Do you think that on the "rest" day that I should lower my calorie intake that day back to what I would have previously eaten? Or should I keep it consistent?

You should keep your blocks consistent

Thanks Jana!
Is there a reason I should do that? On my rest day, I won't be burning any calories...that won't make me gain?

Sarah, in my understanding, you need to keep your calories consistent even on your rest days partly because that is when your body is repairing itself, and it needs the nutrients. Especially with a program as rigorous as P90X, where you are doing a lot of heavy weight training, you are going to be building muscle and in order to build muscle you need to eat an adequate amount of food. But you only build muscle during periods of rest.
