    Hi Edgar!

Technically you can eat anything in the Zone in moderation, but because popcorn is a high density carbohydrate grain you'll have a tougher time lowering your insulin when eating it, as compared to eating lower density fruits and veggies. It would be best to eat it with great moderation, if you choose to eat it at all.

    Edgar:
when eating pop corn.. do not forget to balance the snack... eat protein with it and the good fats too.

I love pop corn, so I only do it every other week, as special treat with my kids.. 2 cups pop corn and 2 slice of deli turkey ham (1 oz)... plus 3 almonds...
    welcome to the zone.
