    Hi,

I just started the Zone this week and I've noticed that my stool is green...is this normal?

My husband had it too, after eating with me. He suggested high protein diet is causing this, I'm not sure. So I ate some bread yesterday and it’s back to normal.

If someone could help me with this questions, that would be great.

    Thank you

Maybe you both had an intestinal "bug" or ate something that had slightly gone bad. I know that with babies and young children green stool indicates a quick "travel time" through the intestines. The Zone diet contains less protein than most average Americans eat. I doubt that the amount of protein you ate is the cause.
