I usually eat a 1 block zone snack soon after working out (around 9pm), on these days, should i still have my late night zone snack an hour before bedtime?

the night time snack is supposed to be taken if you have more than two hours after your meal before going to bed. So if it is more than two hours after your training snack then have another snack. ( I suggest you adjust for this in your daily allowance)

I don't think I'm going out on a limb here to say that maintaining regualr blood glucose level is more important than the number of calories you eat in a given day. Falling out of the Zone can result not only from eating the wrong foods, but from going too long between meals. If you work out a bit more, it's OK to feed your body a bit more.

Adam_h, I would agree with that. In fact I never watch the calories. It is far worse for me to fall out of the zone by not eating soon enough - and it takes hours to get back in if I let that happen. Another thing I have noticed is that on the occasions that I skimp on the evening meal or dont have the snack before going to bed then I am worse off the next morning, falling out of the Zone much sooner after breakfast. it took me a while to work this one out. cheers Top
