I have used the zone before and it worked great,I was much fitter and active then and I was eating 10 blocks per day.I used the book Mastering the Zone. This time I used the online calculator and it gave me 11 blocks per day and I am not nearly as fit or active and have not seen any movement in the tape measure since I started 2 1/2 weeks ago.I recalculated with the book and it says I should eat 8 blocks per day.I am a little confused by the big difference, has something changed since the book Mastering the Zone came out? Thanks for any help you can give me!

Hi!
Yes there's a change. Dr. Sears now reccomends a minimum of 11 blocks for most adults. People tend to practice better compliance to the Zone on 11 blocks, but if you were doing well on 10 before, it would most likely be ok to stick with 10.
