Deborah, either or both of the two things you mentioned in your post, diet being 90% on and exercise tiring you, could be contributing to not seeing the progress you're expecting. Try practicing stricter dietary adherence (some people need stricter adherence than others) and try doing the intense cardio and strength training in two sessions a day , separated by hours, not immediately following each other (it will help to prevent cortisol levels from rising a much; elevated cortisol will work against maintaining eicosanoid balance). Diet will have greater impact on your loss of stored fat than your exercise. Also, recheck you protein/block requirement to be sure you're eating enough to support your activity level.
