So, this is totally off topic, but I wanted to share this with my zone pals. My sister and her hubby have been going through some tough times. He has been ill, first with kidney failure and going through a transplant, and then more recently being diagnosed with metastatic cancer. There is no curable treatment for his cancer. He has been receiving palliative chemotherapy to slow down the growth of his cancer, but the chemo has fried his kidney, and now he is in failure again. He spends 3 days a week going to dialysis. I am not sure if he had restarted chemo or not.
Anyway they have 2 kids, around the same age as my 3 kids. We are all very close, even though we live about 60 miles apart.
Last Saturday, a group of people came and helped out with renovations. Things that he had planned on doing with the house, but just couldn't because his health would not hold up. It brought tears to my eyes! It is wonderful what praying will do for you and your family!
Anyway, the local news station was there, and they did a story that they aired. I found a clip of it, and I have the link here, if you are interested in seeing it.
