I usually make stove top popcorn with canola oil..is this an ok snack or is it a no-no??

Well, popcorn is an unfavorable carb. You can have up to 2 cups of it for a snack, as long as you balance it with some protein (and fat, unless you are getting enough fat from the canola oil).

Hi Kelly!
Not to be a downer here, but keep in mind that balancing high density carb (unfavorable carb) on paper does not mean it will keep you in the Zone. The final word will be how your body respoonds after you eat it.
