I bought yoplait tubes and discovered that it makes a perfect zone snack. Per tube it has 9 grams of carbs, 1.5 grams total fat (1 g saturated. It only has 2 grams of protein but you could alter that! Tell me what yor opinions are and whether you think this could work as a zone snack please!

I think I know what you are talking about. Those tubes either have added sugar or an artificial sweetener. Neither one is very good in the Zone.

A better choice among yogurt is plain lowfat or nonfat yogurt. You can add your own flavoring, and then balance it off with some additioal protein.

For instance, I would blend in some frozen blueberries that I have thawed, and then some vanilla or plain protein powder. Or, another idea is to add 1/2 block of zone chocolate shake mix to 1/4 cup of plain yogurt to make a chocolate pudding. I also mix in some peanut butter for the fat.

That is the same as my recipe, except that I use fat free yogurt, and add peanut butter for the fat.
