Wow! Congratulations. That seems like a ton of weight pretty fast! Do you have alot more to go to reach a goal weight? I am on about Day 10, and I have lost 3.5 pounds, which I am pretty pleased about. Today I had a lunch date at an Indian restaurant, buffet, I TRIED my best to stay within Zone choices but suspect I will end up a bit high on the carbs. Question.. what is best to do in this case, make my NEXT meal low on carbs to balance it or just jump back into a balanced Zone meal? TIA - Donna

Making you next meal low on carbs would only delay your body from getting back into the Zone. The best thing to do is make your next meal a Zone balanced meal. Sue

Thanks Sue, I appreciate the input. I will jump right back to a good Zone-balanced meal then. :)

Thanks :) Yes I still have aout 40 pounds to go... I have been dropping about 3 pounds a week.. I do go out of the Zone once in awhile.. But jump right back into it .... The first month I didn't excercise,But I joined curves 3 weeks ago and love it. I work out there 3-5 times a week 1/2 hour each time..... Good Luck to you and keep up the good work....

It would be a good idea to monitor LBM and body fat weight to be sure your wt loss is all from fat (and NOT LBM loss). It would also be a good idea to review your protein requirements to be sure you're eating enough. Three pounds per week weight loss sustained over 9 weeks is a little too much for one who is in the Zone. Sue
