I usually am considered in pretty good shape and health for a 40 year old woman; thing is, I'm actually 60 years old! I've been in The Zone for about a year. I dropped 20 pounds and have kept it off. I work out regularly on 2 different "total fitness" machines and can walk 3 miles briskly and not even raise a sweat. I am 5'5" tall and weigh 125 pounds, which is amazing since I've been battling my weight all my life and was as heavy as 172 pounds as a teenager. I love The Zone. I'm never hungry, have a hard time even eating 1400 calories a day, and I have tremendous energy. I think all older people should eat this way!
My question is, why isn't there more information available "in person" for Seniors about The Zone? Maybe some certified Zone representatives that can go to Senior Centers, etc.? I would do it!

Yes, I think we need more spokespeople!

The Zone is not well-known around here, either. But, actually, if the opportunity ever came up, I think it would be fun to do an in-person Zone weight loss group. Just something about that personal touch that doesn't happen online!

Congrats! I hear you on the age comments. I get them all the time too. I'm 3 yrs younger than you. My before and after photos are in the album in my signature. My husband's your age, and ran the Hartford Marathon last year. He's also in the Zone and at his ideal weight.
