Can anyone help me? I saw a recipe for a spinach and tofu quicharole with fruit salad that sounds wonderful! But being new and a little overwhelmed...my brain just can't seem to figure out the blocks for it! It doesn't state what they are and I am stumped. Thanks for your input!! <img src='desktopmodules/ntforums/images/emoticons/hehe.gif' height='20' width='20' border='0' title='HeHe' align='absmiddle'> |

Kelly, I'd like to help you, but I don't know what the recipe is. I can't find it doing a search or in the recipe section on the right side. Sorry! Happy Zoning! Karen |

Kelly, guess I overlooked it. To the best that I can figure out: 4 - 4.5 carb blocks 4 protein blocks 5 fat blocks This is the best I could come up with. I did it rather quickly, so someone might want to double check it. Hope this helps! Happy Zoning! Karen |

I am 11 blocks and my hubby is 12 blocks. How would I make it so we both can eat it? (Not too sure he will even consider it, but ya never know!)

Hi Karen and Kelly! I just took a look as the recipe. It's a balanced 4 block meal. If you're counting blocks, the 5th block of fat you see in the recipe makes up for the fat that's missing from the egg white (remember that the block method assumes that half the fat for Zone balance is in the low fat protein block; an additional fat block must be added to the meal for every fat free protein block or you end up short on fat.) This recipe can easily be made into a 3 block meal as follows. After cooking the quice set aside 1/4 of it (1P block) to use in another meal or snack. Then cut out one of the fruit blocks and one of the Macadamia nuts and you have a 3 block meal. |

Thanks, Sue! I woke up thinking about that this morning! After my mishap last night, I guess I have Zone on the brain because I even dreamt I went on the Zone cruise last night! LOL! Happy Zoning! Karen |

The Zone cruise sounds like fun, but a tad expensive! I have always wanted to go on a cruise, hmmm. |

You're welcome Karen!
Dreaming of the cruise, LOL!
Did you see the contest to win a free Zone cruise? You should give it a try! |

Yes, I saw the contest for the free cruise, but I am not physically able to go this year. BUT, I'm thinking about 2010 or maybe 2011!!! It's something to dream about! LOL! Happy Zoning! Karen |

I saw the contest, too. I was thinking about that. I have never been on a cruise, either. A Zoned cruise would be an excellent opportunity to have a vacation that doesn't pack on an extra 5-10#! |

Kelly, I went into "My Zone" at the top and changed my first name to Texemgirl (which is my e-mail address on AOL). Now if you go under reply, it shows Suzyqintexas. That's my e-mail address on Yahoo (which I never look at). I couldn't get Texemgirl on Yahoo. BTW, friends used to call me SuzyQ all the time because I used to have two roommates and both of their names were Karen! It got crazy! LOL! Happy Zoning! Karen |
