A while back I came across an icecream recipe that called for vanilla icecream, TVP granules, peanut butter and protein powder. You mixed it all together and ate it! This was a delicious way to quench my icecream cravings, but I can't find the recipe and can't remember the proportions. It would sure be cool (no pun intended) to have this recipe during the upcoming hot summer months!
Help! If anyone remembers this recipe, it is greatly appreciated! |

Hi,
I think the following is what you're looking for:
Flo's Ice Cream Snack
1/2 cup light Breyers ice cream (natural vanilla)
1/4 cup dry TVP (textured vegetable protein)
6-7 grams chocolate protein powder
1/2 tablespoon crunchy natural peanut butter

I also like this one:
1/4 cup cottage cheese, 1P
1 block of FROZEN berries (your choice) 1C
1 packet splenda
Add nuts if you need any fat. I use 2% cottage cheese so I add 1 tsp. slivered almonds.
Process everything in a food processer and you have ice cream. |
