Whoever came up with the deviled egg snack is a genius. Does anyone know if it freezes well? Thanks |

Stephanie, I believe that the hummus deviled egg recipe is in one of the Zone books. Yes, I agree, it is ingenious! I made them for Thanksgiving. I did 1/2 plate of hummus eggs and 1/2 plate of "regular" deviled eggs. My entire family enjoyed the hummus eggs over the regular ones! And, just to let you know, these particular family members are NOT zoned at all (my sister takes the totally opposite approach that I do to this healthy lifestyle). I have never frozen them, so I don't know how that would work. |

LOL! Well, maybe you can "test out" a few in the freezer! |

Stephanie, did you make the hummus or did you buy it? I have three books here (Enter the Zone, The Anti-Aging Zone, Zone Perfect Meals in Minutes), but all they say is fill the hard boiled egg white with hummus. I've also looked in the recipe section. So, just wondering if you made the hummus or bought it. If you did make it, would you mind sharing the recipe? Thanks! Happy Zoning! Karen |

I've frozen a lot of hummus in the past, in little plastic bags. However I've never tried freezing eggs after they've been cooked ... so if you're just using the hummus, as I sometimes do, yes, you can freeze hummus. I found some hummus that had been frozen for months, and it still tasted great! Alexy |
