    HELLO. BEING NEW TO THE 'ZONE' IAM NOT SURE WHERE TO BEGIN EITHER. MY GOAL IS TO LOSE ABOUT 30 LBS WHILE EATING HEALTHY FOR MYSELF AND MY FAMILY. ANY SUGGESTIONS AS TO WHERE TO START? I AM GOING TO TRY CREATING MY 7 DAY MENU AND THEN DO MY WEEKLY SHOPPING. I WISH LUCK AND SUCCESS FOR BOTH OF US!

    Hi Kristine!

    An easy way to begin is to click on the Quick Start Guide link on the right side of this page. It will answer a lot of your questions and will explain all the basics to get you started, food lists, portions and all. From there you might want to read a Zone book to get an even better understanding (refer to the book descriptions in the Products tab above).

    I've been very successful with the Zone. I lost 100 pounds 13 years ago, and have kept it off (my before and after photos are in the photo album in my signature). I dramatically lowered my blood pressure with Omega RX fish oil to the point my doctor took me off the 2 high BP meds I'd been on for years (and only 2 weeks after starting on Omega RX!). You'll find lots of fish oil info in the OMEGA-3 tab at the top of this page.

    As long as you keep eating Zone balanced, you'll be rid of the excess fat for good.
