okay, I have my book.. Week IN the Zone. Everyone ready? okay.. I asked this question before about a block for a snack. someone told me the block is 1 P, 1C, 1F. on page 73 of the week it says these are snacks. 2 Hard boild egg whites.. etc 1 ounce low fat string cheese 3 olives 1/2 apple if these are snacks. Show me where the PCF are in each of them? |

I don't have the book but I'm guessing the first recipe was something like: 2 hardboiled egg whites (1P) 1/4c. hummus (1C) 3 almonds (1F) string cheese (1P) 3 olives (1F) 1/2 apple (1C) If you go to the eating tab at the top of the page and click on the right tab you'll see a list of blocks. Each of the foods above can be found on there. There's one from the protein, carb, and fat sections of the list in each snack recipe. |

[/quote] 1 ounce low fat string cheese = 1 P block 3 olives = 1 F block 1/2 apple = 1 C block When you eat these threed things at one time you've eaten a 1 block snack containing 1P block, 1C block and 1F block. |

If you add fruit to yogurt then you need to balance it with additional protein in the meal. |
