Hi any one from the UK,

This is just a note for any one living in the UK wanting to buy products from the Dr Sears site,
I have in the past bought products from the site and have been made up with what i have received, the products are great and excellant quality.
However be warned that although you pay costs for shipping ,YOU MAY also be caught by CUSTOMS + EXCIZE,AS WAS MY LAST SHIPMENT FROM THERE ,I HAD BOUGHT GOODS TO THE VALUE OF JUST UNDER £90.00 (total U.S.dollar $146 + )and then low and behold had to pay another £50.00 to customs here , all i bought this time was 3 tubs of OMEGA RX ,I could have gone to Holland +Barratt and got 3 large tubs from there for less than half that price ,ok quality not as good ,but they do the same thing.
If any one else has had the the same thing happen to them let us know on here
    take care

    Hi Lynn,
I have just inquired about purchasing omega Rx and zone bars. Can you explain exactly what you have to pay extra?. I was under the impression it was just import VAT at 17.5%. You say you only bought three tubs last time, does that mean nothing is payable under a certain amount. I would not be happy to pay nearly half as much again as you did but would proberly pay the 17.7%. The only similar product I can find here is Omax3 from first vitality but the price is similar but only 6o capsules compared to 120 in the Omega Rx.
    Kind regards
    Mary.

    hi mary
just got back from hols , well i cant remember exactly what i paid but it ended up that for 3 tubs omega rx it cost me cost me over £ 145.00 in total which i was most upset about as you can imagine, i shall not be doing that again ,we pay taxes for import to come from abroad and then have to pay again ( not good )Apparently any thing coming in from non european comu is liable for customs + and excize duty ,its just the same going to HOLLAND + BARRETT ok quality not as good but both do the same thing at end of day
    so just be careful

    Hi Lynn,
Thanks for replying. I actually did go ahead and order. There was a discount by ordering 12 bottles and I also ordered 4 boxes of zone bars. If you see this Sue I was pleased with the choices, especially liking the cocoa crisp. The total cost was just over £300. I thought I had got away with tax but the bill came about 1 week later for £107. I worked out each bottle of Omega Rx cost about £26. It is quite expensive but I have been following the zone diet for 4 weeks and taking the fish oil for nearly 3 weeks now and feel great. The inflammation zone was included in the price and after reading that and the Omega Rx zone feel that I really want to take the refined fish oil. Have you been on the diet long? Everything about it makes sense and even though I have only lost about 2 pounds, I have lost 2 inches from my stomach and the wellbeing feeling is great
    All the best.
    Mary.
