I am confused about how Boca Burgers (frozen meatless burgers) fit into the Zone. Last night I had a cheeseburger...here are the stats: Fat: 5 g Carb: 5 g with 3 g fiber Protein: 12 g I counted this as 2F and 2P, although they were a bit short. I didn't count the carbs since I felt 2g was negligible. Thanks very much for your help...I'm still pretty new to this Zone thing, but I love it!

You would probably want to add a little more fat to count it as 2 F, since 3 g fat is required to fully balance one complete block of P,C, and F. The fat grams are very important in the whole mix and while it is ok not to be overly precise with grams of P and C, skimping by even a couple grams of F can keep one out of the Zone. On the other hand, going over a bit with fat grams is ok, within reason. It will actually give better control over insulin levels. Sue

Thanks very much Sue! That's important to know about the fat grams...you don't have to tell me twice to eat more almonds! Jill

Hey Sue¡¡ I´ve some doubts about fat blocks wonder if u could help me please. Three almonds is one block? or half a block?
Also about nutrition facts in foods not very recommended for the zone, If they´re balanced, or I make a Balanced meal out of them, thinking on blocks, is it o.k. to eat them, or will they hinder my weight reduction?
