    Hi,

I've been following the diet for about 2 days. One reason why I went for a structured diet was the opposite reason to most people...I think I don't eat enough.

But I am a bit worried that I am now eating too much. Is this normal.

    I'm 6 ft 1 or so...about 207 pounds. That's 18 blocks. Work out approx 5 times a week.

I have been eating my 18 blocks but feel constantly full and struggle to eat the 18...

    Have i done something wrong?

    Al,

To tell you if 18 blocks is appropriate, we'd need to know your LBM and teh type of activities your exercise is composed of

It's common for people new to teh en diet to feel like they'rr eatign too much. It's very important to eat your full block requirement each day. Try combining the types of carbs you eat to make and average sized meal (refer to the 7 day planner in the EATING tab).

    hi

thanks...Yeah, think I need to think about my carbs. The other day I had salmon and some fruit and nuts...looked a little small and I was in a rush so i scraped that idea and just got all my carbs from broccoli and caulis...oooops...thats a big amount.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

    You're welcome!

Yeah, that is a lot, especially if your eating 4 block meals!

Broccolli and cauliflower are certainly EXCELLENT sources of carbs but when you are needing [ apparently ] that amount of blocks - that would be physically a TON of food - especially when you consider the associated amount of fiber.

Just substituting a small amount of chickpeas would reduce the shear volume considerably.

If you haven't already suggest you pick up a Zone book or two that focus on recipes and meal planning as there will be lots of suggestions.

I know how you feel Al. I remember when I ate that first recipe with mushrooms, broccoli, and cauliflower. It was alot. However, after I ate it, I did not feel full but satisfied.
