I just noticed that I went from "Aspiring" to "Zoner" in the blink of an eye by apparently posting "response" #100.

    I also noticed I went from { I think ] "2 stars" to "5" !

I've also noticed there's people that have posted in the "thousands" and they have the same "stars" and "level" as, I guess, someone that goes over 100.

Seems you go from one end to the other from "Aspiring" ?

LIke maybe "Zoner" at 100 with an additional star from "Aspiring" ...

"Twilite Zoner" at 500 with another star ...

"Ultra Zoner" at 1,000 with 5 stars ...

Maybe a Forum contest to name new "zones" ?

I always wondered what those stars were about. I thought it meant those that have been the most successful at this diet thing or has lost the most weight. Thanks for the information.

    Tara,

...well that's what I think they mean !

I basically was very surprised to see all of that change so much when I went from posting "99" to "100"

Now, I have to post, just to see how mine differs from EWally! LOL!

I have never seen a written description of what all of that really means. Would be nice!

    Hi E.Wally!

There's more discussion about it in this previous thread:

The rating system was configured to recognize contibution to the forums based on number of posts. There is no significance to the number or color of the stars or blocks.

    The breakdown is as follows:

    Newbie 0 to 10

    Aspiring 11 to 99

    Zoner 100 - 4999

We could certainly set up the levels to be more refined.

So, if there is no significance to the stars or the color of the stars, then why are they there, and why are they different from one to another?

Well THANK YOU Carl about the "stars" - I thought it was my imagination I could make no sense at all about THEM !

    I "second" CranberryCat's comment.

Yes - Carl - I'm all for a more refined system...

Why not a "suggestion box" thread for ideas for this ?

Maybe a CONTEST ? The winning entry gets a luxury trip to downtown Danvers MA !

How about people suggest names for "response levels" and you have a vote ?

... and for where the "response leves" should be too ?

In the spirit of it being an "Election Year" why shouldn't we have one at the old forum too ?!!!!

Thanks for the "link" Sue ...

...seems this very thing was "kicked around" back in June over a year ago - and is now being ... "re-kicked" !

I think we should all get lollipops - just like at the doctors for all our great test results on account of the benefits of being a "Zoner" .
