    Hello there,

My husband works shiftwork, never the same shift more than a week at a time. This summer he is on straight afternoons and midnights. And I work evenings until 9pm three or four nights a week.

Consequently, we sleep odd hours and have a very difficult time not eating late at night.

We are new to the zone way of living. Any other odd shift workers out there with suggestions?

Just keep your mind wide open on this. Odd shift work calls for odd schedules, and it means that you just adjust your schedule so that your meal times work for your lifestyle.

Eating late at night should not really be a problem. This is your opportunity to have your bedtime snack!

Just stick to the general zone guidelines. Eat within one hour of waking, don't let more than 5 hours go by without a zone meal or snack, and eat a snack before bed.
