Why are most of the recipes configured for 4 block meals? Until I get my activity level up to where it needs to be, I need to start out with 3 block meals. Is there an easy way to convert these or should I just prepare as stated and leave food on my plate.

    Thanks!

I would still make the 4 blocks and save some for a 1 block snack.

I have the opposite problem. I need 4 block recipes, not 3. I'm looking at the woman's 7 day plan; after being away from The Zone for years, I want to return to it by using that plan. Hey, it's easy and I don't enjoy being in the kitchen so...
Have I simply got to look a little more?

    Barbara.

If your question hasn't been answered yet, I have a few suggestions. You could add say a cup of milk with your meal, 1c and 1p and then depending on fat content of your milk just add a couple almonds or something. Also you could take those extras and add to a larger snack. I'm a 17 blocker but I'm happy with 4 block meals so I just eat larger snacks to compensate.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi Barbara,

Use the men's 7 day planner instead. It contains 4 block meals. The meals in the men's planner plus 2 1-block snacks a day will give you 14 blocks a day.
