I was double checking to make sure that a person should add some protein (add 1 more block) and carbs (since there are 16 carbs but 5 fiber) if eating a 1/2 cup zone cereal.
I am back in "the zone" and loving every bit of it! I did the zone about 6 years ago and lost about 25lbs., went down 3 dress sizes and felt amazing! I went to college, didn't follow the zone and gained everything back and more. Now I am back in "the zone" and staying there.

If you add milk, you'll have a balanced 3 block meal a bit low in carb. You can eat it with only the addition of milk, or you can add some berries to it.

hahahaha. Sue I am having a blonde moment. I forgot that I would have to add milk. Thanks for the reminder.

    LOL!

But you kow, you can also use it dry, as a snack. We take it hiking in warmer weather. It's light weight and doesn't melt on warm days, as bars can do.

SO if I did eat it alone (no milk) I still would add more carb and protein to my meal correct?

You could. Or, you could also take 3/4 a cup of cereal alone and call it a 3 block meal with only 2 C blocks and eat a big handful of berries with it for the C.

Yes, 1/2 cup Zone cereal plus 1 cup milk would be a Zone balanced 3 block meal. You can also add some berries to it and still remain balanced.
