I was looking at the zone cereal and shakes and I am confused on their P, C, F. THe shakes do not seem to have enough fat in them. Are you suppose to eat more fats with the shakes? Also, if you add it to milk or yogart, wont that be too much protein/carbs? Also, the cereal doesn't seem to have enough fat in it as well (if I remember correctly).

I have never bought these products so if someone could help me understand them better I would appreciate it. Thanks bunches!
I am back in "the zone" and loving every bit of it! I did the zone about 6 years ago and lost about 25lbs., went down 3 dress sizes and felt amazing! I went to college, didn't follow the zone and gained everything back and more. Now I am back in "the zone" and staying there.

A shake mix packet added to 8 oz of 2% milk will be a 3 block meal. The cereal is balanced on it's own. 1/2 cup, which is two blocks, contains 7 grams fat. That's 1 gram more than the amount of minimum fat needed to balance 2 blocks. For a 3 block meal add 1 cup milk, and a few berries if you like.

Okay thank you sue. Also, which shake do you like best? Also, what protein powder do you use, adn does it have to be whey protein or any kind of protein powder? Thank you. :)

You're welcome! My favorite Dr. Sears Zone Shake flavor is a tie between Strawberries n' Cream and Milk Chocolate. In use Zone protein powder. I like it best of all that I've used so far. I had a gassy respose to it for the first couple weeks I used it, but that has disappeared. You don't have to use a whey powder. Soy protein powder and egg white protein powder are also alternatives. Dr. Sears Zone Protein Powder is a combination of milk powder (no lactose) and whey in a controlled release formula.
