    Hi all,

I have been in the Zone for a few weeks now. I am doing great with fat loss. However, I have noticed within the past couple of weeks my appetite has decreased to the point that at most meals I don't really feel hungry at all and am having to sort of force myself to eat. My energy level is good and I am in a rigorous workout program (Crossfit). My main problem is that I am just not enjoying the majority of my meals anymore. I don't think I can reduce my meal blocks because I am trying to build lean muscle mass and I am already at the minimum blocks allowed (I am a small woman).

    Any suggestions?

    Thank you,

    MW

    Melissa,
I am not expert, however, I do know that with the Zone, if you aren't hungry when you are suppose to eat, that is a good thing. It means that you are in the Zone and your insulin levels have been steady. In addition, if you aren't enjoying your meals as much anymore, maybe try switching them up.
I am back in "the zone" and loving every bit of it! I did the zone about 6 years ago and lost about 25lbs., went down 3 dress sizes and felt amazing! I went to college, didn't follow the zone and gained everything back and more. Now I am back in "the zone" and staying there.

Melissa, that's terrific! Congrats on the fat loss! Lack of hunger means you're doing great with the Zone diet. I like Alyssa's suggestion to add some variety. A smoothie, a Zone shake, or 1 1/2 Dr. Sears Zone bars would be good when you don't feel like eating a plateful for a meal. Keep up the good work!
