    Hi bev!

It shouldn't present a problem to avoid eggs and gluten. Grains are unfavorable and avoided in the Zone, and eggs aren't necessary. My first suggestion for breakfast would be to look to what you've been eating for breakfast prior to the Zone, and balance it to nmeet Zone guidelines. Dairy is a good P alternative to eggs for breakfast. try cottage cheese, berries, and nuts; plain yogurt with peanut butter and vanilla extract mixed in; even a bolw fo leftover chili! Get creative! My usual breakfast is very thick chocolate smoothie based on a recipe in Zone books. It contains containing Zone Protein Powder, alcohol free almond flavor, cocoa powder, cherries, a chunk of banana, cinnamon, turmeric, extra virgin olive oil, and a dash of soymilk (so it blends easier). Cheers!

Hi, I just started Zone on Monday, I'm also gluten-intolerant. It's been pretty easy so far. We can still use brown rice or quinoa if you have a craving for a grain-y carb, you can also find brown rice tortillas or soy flour tortillas to make wraps. :)

I avoid gluten too and rarely eat eggs. The zone suits this pretty well.
