I need to find out the portions for liver and onions. I thinking of frying the liver using olive oil (no breading) and frying the onions in light olive oil.

    Liver 1oz = 1 block ?
    onions 1/2 cup cooked = 1 block ?

Any idea how these look nutrionaly?

Thanks inadvance for your help. This isn't something I would eat often but I need a change of taste. I'm open to suggestions to spruce it up as well. Thanks again.

In case if you don't know liver and other organs are very high in AA, even higher than egg yolk.

I like liver and onions as well. I don't know about the oil because it seems that would be to much fat.

1 oz liver (raw) has 6 gram of protein, 1 gram fat
2/3 cup raw onions is 9 carbs and 2 fiber (according to my PC version of fitday)

To make the fat one block you would need 1/13 of a tbsp of olive oil. So your idea would give way to may fat blocks. You'd have to find a different way to cook the liver... maybe sautee in broth or something?

But like Emma said, the liver is not favorable.
