I had no idea where to put this query, so here it is. I started Zoning in April, and am thrilled with it, both health and weight-wise. I do not use fish oil yet, as I have tried but had difficulty with fatigue and headaches (and I am a medicated migraine sufferer.) Anyway... the thing is, I am a natural blonde, with very fair skin (I am of 75% Norwegian descent). Usually, during the winter months, my hair gets drab and ashy looking. Sometimes I'll highlight it to get a pick me up. When summer returns, it returns to the pale, golden hue. However, since I am blue as a fish's belly, I avoid the sun (in summer, too) and wear 15 SPF year-round. This year, my hair is not drab or ashy looking at all. The only thing I have changed is my diet. I was wondering if anyone else noticed this. Note, pre-zone I would eat a lot more fresh fruits and veggies in the summer, so perhaps this was why my hair changed then. Anyone else notice a hair change? Ronica

[quote:a08f04d972="RBrownson"] Anyone else notice a hair change? [/quote:a08f04d972] Like clockwork--leave the Zone for too long (or have a REALLY bad meal) my hair becomes very fine, no texture--like I'm losing it fast. In the Zone, the texture is thick and looks fuller. When I was very strict in the beginning there was regrowth where it had been receding. Others have reported a return of color.

I too have thicker hair and have had some growth back in places it had receeded. My wife has definitely noticed it too.

Thicker? Crud, that I don't need! :) Now, if I could just give some to my husband... R
