    thanks

We have been zoning about a month (bf & I) and really hitting it with favorable items, but he loves choclate syrup, so today I made a zoned version:

2oz unsweetened choclate melted over very low heat. Add 1/4 cup of 1% lowfat milk & 3 TBSP of Agave Nectar (recommended in the books-a little hard to find but SO GOOD!). Melt choclate add milk slowly and keep stirring until smooth, add agave nectar. Makes a little over 1/2 a cup, so we got 1 1/2 tablespoons for 1 carb block and put it over a cup of raspberries for dessert. Yummm. We had LOTS of veggies for our other carbs, so it was a special treat.

PS He has lost 10 lbs, I'm behind with only 4 (I have a lot more to go too). I also travel a lot for work which makes it harder, but we feel SO GOOD it is hard to imagine going back to eating junk.

    Chocolate, love it!

Here's how I fit it in:

Zone Bars (chocolate fudge and chocolate raspberry!)

    Chocolate Zone shakes

chocolate soy milk (West Soy Unsweetened Cocolate has moslty no insulin stimulating carb...great poured over Zone Cereal!)

Dagoba's higher cocoa content bars (their best varieties for low carb and good taste: Ecilpse, New Moon and Xocolatl)

raw cocoa powder (put it in my breakfast smoothie)

Belgian Chocolate gelato from the gelato bar at Whole Foods

    Hi Katie!

I love them, too! They're delicious, aren't they?

One Zone Labs bar contains 2 fully balanced blocks of P, C, and F. 1/2 bar is a 1 block snack, 1 1/2 bars for a 3 block meal, 2 bars for a 4 block meal.
