Hello, I was thinking about changing the frequency of my meals in the zone. Instead of eating three meals and two snacks a day, I was thinking about eating a small meal every two hours. So essentially, I'd be eating eight tiny meals everyday. Has anyone ever experimented with this? How did you feel when you did it? What were your results? Thanks for any input. Mike

Keep in mind one would would want the smaller more frequent meals to total the number of blocks one requires in a day.[/color:be8826bdbd]

I found it keeps me more even with mental and physical energy. If working hard, I eat every hour because I am burning a lot of calories. The only negative, is when driving I never get that feeling of satiety that a big bulky meal gives you (I think it is just boredom). When working hard, I don't want that stuffed feeling.

Actually eating smaller more frequent meals is actually better to control insulin. For most people it is just too hard to be eating every two hours. But if you eat all the blocks you need in a day, eating smaller more frequent meals is ideal and even better. As for my experiences, when I have very active days or some other days where I am just more tired than usual because of shorter nights of sleep, smaller more frequent meals really help me stay at the top of my game where eating my usual 5 or 6 block meal would have more of a tendency to slow me down and increase my fatigue. I need 20 block/day. Pat
