Hello Zonefriends! I started my Zone life the end of October. I lost 4.5 Kg, is not very much if I think that I have 8 more Kg to loose but I'm happy anyhow! My problem is that my carb blocks (into lunch and dinner) are always made of pasta or bred. I love it and it's hard to change it! Ciao!

Congratulations on the weight loss! You'll get there in time. I've noticed that when I have high density carbs such as bread and pasta for lunch I get incredibly groggy around 3pm and it usually takes an hour to get out of it. It really drags down my afternoon. I'll admit I'm a pasta junkie - before going on the zone diet I had pasta almost every night for dinner and sometimes I would even make myself and entire box of Mac & Cheese for lunch! (Boy that really put me to sleep..but I was hooked). It was hard to give it up. And I have 2 days a week where I can have a small amount of pasta with my dinner so that I don't feel like I'm depriving myself. Bread, suprisingly enough, I don't miss. I substituted bread with whole wheat flour tortillas when I wanted a "sandwich like" lunch. Works pretty well. Good luck to you!
